Synapse Workstation, developed by FUJIFILM Medical Systems U.S.A., Inc., is a diagnostic imaging viewer and workflow application within the Synapse enterprise imaging suite. It is designed for radiologists and clinicians to efficiently view, compare, and analyze multi-modality DICOM studies (such as CT, MR, ultrasound, DR/CR, nuclear medicine, PET/CT, and mammography) with high-fidelity rendering. The workstation supports customizable hanging protocols, advanced measurement and annotation tools, multi-monitor setups, and rapid access to prior exams to streamline reading from worklist to final interpretation. It integrates with Synapse PACS and can connect to hospital information systems and reporting/dictation tools to help improve productivity. Additional capabilities may include 3D/volumetric visualization, specialized tools for breast imaging, and collaboration features, depending on configuration. Built for enterprise performance and security, Synapse Workstation supports standards-based interoperability and centralized administration to help organizations scale imaging across sites and service lines.
